Family birthday pictures

Lauren, Meagan, Isabella, Jacob, and Hunter
Isabella showing her tongue and being silly.

We were able to take a few minutes to take a few family pictures of almost all the cousins and also of her Papaw.

Isabella's 1st Birthday Party

Our family tradition...if she chooses the pen first she will be smart, if she chooses the money she will be rich...my baby took the pen, then later took the money.
She kept going after the candle.

My nephew was shocked how Isabella finally dove into the cake.

Opening the first of many presents.
I don't know where to begin. Isabella was in such a good mood when she woke up from her nap. She loved the balloons, decorations and all of her family by her side. She sat and opened presents for a long time and did not understand the whole process of opening, then have them taken away, then starting over again.

Birthday Decorations...

She is so excited!

Isabella's Smash Cake

Here are a few pictures from before the party.

Cowgirl Museum

We decided to head to the Cowgirl Museum on Wednesday. We reminded the older girls how much fun we had when we rode the Bucking Bronco last time. When we arrived to that part we were all so sad that it was gone because it was broken. We made the best out of a sad situation and made some new memories.

Wednesday afternoon fun...

We were headed to the Cowgirl Museum with the girls, but before we could head upstairs we decided to let Isabella and Lani burn some energy downstairs at the Science Museum. Right now the museum is underconstruction so there was not a lot to do, but the girls made the most of it anyway.

Finally...

Soon you took those tottering steps
and your independence got its start.
And as you walked away from me,
you had with you, my heart.

New birthday shirt

This is the really cute shirt the Simpson Family gave Lauren for her birthday! Lauren really is into the whole peace thing so this was perfect! Along with the shirt were earrings and some fun magnets to hang in her locker. Thank you so much Erin, Kevin and Kayden!!

Monchichi Doll

Monchichi Doll

She loves her doll.
Isabella sucking on the Monchichi Dolls thumb...that is so funny.

Everyone remembers Monchichi Dolls! This past Christmas Isabella got a Monchichi Doll as a gift because we call he monkey all the time and they are notorious for sucking their thumb...just like Isabella. Here lately she been playing with it more often and it is so cute! Here are a few pictures...

My first tea set

Lauren is such a sweet big sister to play with Isabella.

The tea pot and purse from Miss Keaton match.

Lauren having a tea party with Isabella

She also loves her new book...I need to find a picture to add.

We went to lunch with Mrs. Erin and Kayden and they were so sweet to bring Lauren and Isabella their birthday presents. Isabella has a kitchen, but it needs to be stocked with some fun new things. Isabella did not have a tea set, so this was the perfect gift. Thank you Mrs. Erin, Mr. Kevin and Kayden! We can't wait to see you next week to hang out for lunch and shopping.

My favorite food...can you guess?

Making funny faces!

Green Beans!!!

I have never seen a child love green beans like she does. If she had it her way, she would eat them everyday. The other day she was finishing up supper and Lauren was having dessert...not Isabella she did not want cookies she wanted more green beans.

I see you...

Isabella is so busy and we find her everywhere. She was playing in the kitchen and I knew she was coming so I had to get ready for her on the floor. She played in the kitchen for awhile playing peek-a boo around the corner. :)

Lauren's Birthday Night

Isabella helping her sister
Right now Lauren is interested in Aeropostle so it was a perfect opportunity to get her a few items for her birthday. She enjoyed opening her gifts before we went to Abuelos for dinner.
