Gymnastics...

This summer Isabella is taking a Mommy and Me Gymnastics class with the HEB School district...she is having tons of fun...when she is not running away from me saying...Go Away!!! Once she is busy with the tumble track and rings she loves the class and all of her friends.

The ABC Scavenger Hunt...

We had two teams of 6 kids...they randomly drew...gave out explicit directions...took all their cell phone numbers...and sent them on their way. They had a sheet that had the alphabet and were sent door to door to find random items for each letter. They had 45 minutes to gather all they could and we would have prizes for the winning team (Sonic gift cards). I was really amazed at how many things were provided to the kids...one team had 20 items collected and the other team collected16 items out of 26....luckily Lauren was on the winning team! It was such an awesome party I would suggest a scavenger hunt to any home party. The kids snacked on chips and dips before the hunt and when they finished we had pizza, cake and ice cream for them. No one left hungry it was great. Even better Little Caesars had just opened in the neighborhood the day before...$5.00 pizzas!!!

The Cake...

We found these really cool plates and napkins and Creative Memories has the best selection of cakes....we found this one to match perfectly!

Opening gifts...

It is so hard to shop for a 12 year old...the mostly would like gift cards, but Lauren is such a girlie girl (and her friends know it) she got lots of jewlery...amazingly nothing the same. There are these new style watches and Lauren got 2 of them, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and some letters to finish decorating. Thanks for all the awsome gifts...Lauren loved them all!!!

Lauren had an ABC Scavenger Hunt Birthday Party. Something very different than usual. It is hard to find things that are entertaining and safe for 12 year old boys and girls. Here are the decorations and some of the food that she chose.

Playing with the puppies...

Isabella loves our puppy dogs. She likes Mikey (the black dog) the most because he is the more playful than Ralphie (the white dog). Tonight after she was finished playing in her pool she played with the puppies and did a little exploring in our backyard. She liked playing around our new patio furniture.

Backyard Fun

Sometimes the simple things in life are perfect. With Summer here that means lots of outside time. Isabella loves playing outside with her toys and now she loves her swimming pool. There were so many to choose from, but when it came down to it just a simple pool did the trick. We brought our bath toys outside and Isabella absolutely loved every moment.
