MY FIRST SWING!!!

After the gazebo collapsed we decided not to rebuild, but before we tore it all the way down we realized that some of the posts were still in great shape so while my brother was here to visit he was so kind to hang Isabellas first swing. As you can see she absolutely loves it!!! This past weekend when it was raining she looked at the swing from the inside and asked to swing, then looking at me with those big brown eyes and said pwease (please) mommy...it was very tempting. :)

Want to share with Uncle Mike???

Isabella really enjoyed having Uncle Mike in town and was even willing to share her ice cream with him. So sweet! We are planning a trip to see my brother and his family...I can't wait to see if they continue their sweet bond.

Time For Ice Cream

Isabella loves ice cream, lately I have allowed her to have more than usual with her sore throat. I decided that she needed to try an ice cream cone...boy was she messy. Who better to have ice cream with but Lauren and Lily. :)

Mr. Mike...

Most people know how shy Isabella is, but she must have known that Mr. Mike is a grandpa...she sat with him for awhile...or at least long enough to snap a few pictures. :)

Family Fun Day

Isabella did not spend too long at Family Fun Day, but she was there long enough to get a ballon and also step up on the Fort Worth Fire Dept. fire truck. She looks so little on that big truck, I was surprised she let him pick her up and was not scared at all. :) Isabella was especially cute walking around with her balloon. She held on so tight so that it would not fly away...but in the end it got away. :(

Which blob is Lauren....

Can you guess which is Lauren? This was a cute dance that the girls performed at Family Fun Day. When we originally saw it a Lauren would not tell us what color she would be...but after awhile and moment to think it hit us...Purple...its her favorite color....makes sense.

Bella on stage...

Look at me!
See my nose?
We tried to patiently wait for Lauren to perform at Family Fun Day, but sometimes enough is enough for a little one year old. Isabella escaped from us and headed to the steps of the stage at school...we were very lucky that she did not run on the stage. She was funny, she was fascinated with the steps.

Lily and Lauren visit the nail salon....

My niece Lily came in to town with my brother Mike for a little rest and relaxation while she was on Spring Break. They flew in from Connecticut on Friday and by Saturday we made our way to the nail salon. I told the girls to pick their polish and they did just that!
I think they turned out GREAT!

Pink and Brown!

What a cutie!
Of course she has her Nite Nite Bunny.
What a sweet look.
She did not want to look at me, but she kept laughing.
This outfit is beyond precious!!! OMG and Isabella looked stinkin' cute!!! She is such a little peanut in size and clothes that she should be able to wear are too big. I was lucky that she could wear this dress once before the cold weather left us. I could not resist snapping a few pictures in this giraffe dress. If you look closely you will find Nite Nite Bunny in her hand. :)

Look how she has grown?

I can remember when Lauren was a little girl with big bows in her hair, but today I looked at her and found she is on her way to being a teenager! She has grown up so much and is so beautiful both inside and out!
I love Lauren's new haircut...it fits her perfect.

I was caught...

I had to stop and laugh when I found Isabella had found a new use for our front entrance table. I was busy cooking in the kitchen when I kept hearing this little laugh...I turned around and found Isabella sitting under the table. It is the perfect height and size for such a cute little girl. :)
