I'm not sure who had more fun today Dad (AKA Papaw) or Isabella. When he arrived tonight for dinner she did not want to go to him. We told him she needed a few minutes to warm up and as you can see she was all over him giving him all sorts of love in no time. She wanted to play with him everywhere and when he left she wanted to go with him, too sweet.

Dinner with friends at Paulios Pizza...
We had such a great time gathering with friends a few weeks before we were all ready to head back for another school year to begin. As you can see everyone had a great time telling stories and reacquainting. This time was especially fun because we all brought spouses/significant others for fun night out at Paulios Pizza in Colleyville.
Birthday Horse...
Dyan, Lani, Lexi, and Jason had a very special birthday present for Isabella...her first horse...a wheeled rolling horse. It is super cute. It has a basket in the front so that she can carry her doll or whatever she likes. She had so much fun exploring her horse and immediately found the spot on the horse that makes noise and plays music.

Playing in the sprinkler
One evening Isabella became curious as to what Russell was doing outside so she followed him out to see that he was watering the grass. It was not long before she was in the middle of it all. As you can see she enjoyed herself very much, once we went in the house we had no choice but to start her bath and let the splashing continue.

Here is a working water mill.
These next three pictures are from a cabin that was

Russell has some people in town from Czech Republic that will be working here for the next few months. We were asked to take them to the Log Cabin Village, here are a few pictures that we took. It is amazing how they lived back then and all the stories that came along with each different cabin. We could not imagine that there would be several people in a one room cabin, they had to cook, eat, sleep, and entertain all in one room.
