Central Park

The girls sailing motorized boats.
Really concentrating...
Bella hanging out with Uncle Mike
This was an awesome piece of art, it was so hot I did not let Bella climb on it.
I'm holding her so she does not get burned.
When your sister is sailing boats you have to stay busy so....why not chase a squirrel that is missing half of his tail...lol.

Bella looking for the squirrel, she kept saying, "Where he go?" it was too cute.

Lauren and Lily checking out the Alice In Wonderland art.

She was so cool...once Lauren gave her money she would change poses.

Let our day begin...

Our first ride in a taxi.
Russell and I have always wanted to eat here.
While walking down the sidewalk they were returning from a fire...since I took pictures of the police officers might as well include the fireman.

Lauren is our dancer!

Great family picture...but...
Isabella was tired of pictures...ha ha
So far the start of our day was wonderful. We had lots of walking to do and and lots of things to see. Everyone had something on their must see list in New York.

New York here we come!!!

Did you see all the people getting off the train? OMG...good thing we went on a Sunday, the week days are much worse! I was able to talk the fine officers of New York to pose with the girls...they were a bit reluctant...but in the end I have this great picture. Now let the sight seeing begin!

First Real Train Ride!

Buying tickets at the train station.
Waiting for the train doors to open.

Wow! First time on a train.
Lauren is ready for The American Girls Store.
Sweet Girls!
So nice of Jasmin the ticket taker to pose for the camera...she was really nice to the girls.

Sunday was a big day for us, we were going to New York to do quite a bit of sight seeing and have tea at The American Girl Store. The best way to get to New York from Connecticut was to take a train. We were able to skip all of the crazy traffic and enjoy time on the train with family. My brother Michael, sister-in-law Kelly and niece Lily were still getting to know Isabella and reaquaint themselves with Lauren...so the long train ride was perfect.

Donuts....

Up north there are only two kinds of donuts...Dunkin Donuts and Tim Hortons, well we have all tried Dunkin and now we are trying Tim Hortons....I have to say they were pretty tasty...The Scott family gave them two thumbs up.

Up Up Up and Away...

Waiting to board the plane.
All buckled and ready for the plane to take off.
Lauren all bright eyed.
All ready for take off...3 1/2 hour flight...good thing its first class!
Bella stretching her legs and Lauren watching the in flight movie.
Our flight was scheduled to leave at 8:00 Saturday morning. In order to be there on time you have to be up bright and early...5am for Mom and Dad and 5:15 for Lauren and 5:30 for Isabella so we can be out the door at 6 and head over to airport parking so that the shuttle to get you to the airport on time. The morning went really well and everyone was on time.

A few birthday gifts from Mom and Dad...

We always wait for Lauren's actual birthday to give her, her family gifts....hope you enjoyed them all!
